We are seeking a Market Specialist – Hose and Fittings - Ontario

Job Responsibilities:

  • Travels throughout a designated region to promote, sell, and service company products
  • Plans own itinerary, schedules contacts with distributors and end users and determines their needs; develops a territorial marketing plan
  • Call on a specific set of vocationally aligned accounts and coordinates with local Zone Sales Manager and Market Specialists to assist in other accounts as requested
  • Develop market intelligence, customer intelligence, and competitive intelligence
  • Provide technical expertise in hydraulic hose and fittings to all members of Muncie Power Products
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met
  • Attend trade shows as needed and assist in the planning of trade shows for assigned markets
  • Work closely with local Zone Sales Managers to ensure that all assigned markets are adequately covered
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree, or certificate of completion in mechanical or industrial engineering, fluid power or other applicable engineering or technical degree, or an associate degree in business administration, management or marketing, or a minimum of three years field sales and service experience with mobile equipment and components
  • Prefer knowledge of the heavy truck equipment industry
  • Must have experience with Hoses and Fittings
  • Industrial or Manufacturing sales experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and ability to work well with others as well as independently
  • Must be willing to live in sales territory and to travel extensively. You will be traveling within the territory up to 75% of the time.

We offer an industry leading compensation package including:

  • Base Salary in the $98,000-$118,000 range dependent on experience and US Exchange Rate
  • Bonus up to $16,500-$21,000 + annually
