Job Requirements:

  • You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Work Safely in a high traffic Pipe yard & Warehouse Environment
  • Adherence and Enforce our Safe Loading & Unloading procedures to all Drivers
  • Load and Unload Pipe using a Wheel Loader w/ Grapples
  • Able to read Heat numbers and Tally Pipe
  • Physical fit – you will be required to lift up to 50 lbs in this position
  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Work safely with a sense of urgency
  • High Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and various shifts

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience leading a team
  • Experience operating a Wheel Loader with Grapples
  • Oil & Gas Pipe Knowledge
  • Material Handling Equipment experience, such as forklift or picker lift
  • Experience with MTRS and Heat numbers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & Lead by example
  • Receive Pipe into Inventory
  • Review packing slips and documentation & filing
  • Handle all returns timely
  • Daily Cycle Counts
  • Email & Communicate to Inside and outside sales team and branches
  • Schedule daily receiving’s
  • Participate & Schedule weekend on-call coverage
  • Ensure the pipe yard team safety compliance
  • Able to communicate to upper management and warehouse team
  • Work cooperatively in a highly demanding environment
  • Schedule Wheel Loader equipment servicing
  • Coach & Mentor the Pipeyard team
  • Support the warehouse team
  • Balance Lead responsibilities and Pipeyard operations
  • Safely Unload Pipe from vendor trucks and inspect for quality requirements
  • Safely Load Specific Pipe for customers onto trucks for daily shipping
  • Stock and transfer material to appropriate location
  • Pick customer order from stock and package based on customer requirements
  • Meet specific daily timelines as set by your supervisor
  • Adhere to Safety policies, guidelines and training
  • Maintain Pipe Yard cleanliness and ground work
  • Customer service
