POSITION: NUTRITION ASSISTANT III
Primary Site: Stratford
Full-Time
(Shifts: 8-hour days, 7 days/week maybe subject to change)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nutrition Assistant III is required to assist in the preparation and distribution of food. As a front-line service provider, the Nutrition Assistant III must adopt, maintain and foster a customer service focus that will enhance the image of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.

REPORTS TO: Director, Nutrition & Food Services

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $23.55 - $24.96 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

- Grade 12 (minimum)
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Food Service Worker Certificate
- Post secondary education related to Food and Nutrition and/or Food Service Administration

EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience in health care food service.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Extensive knowledge of therapeutic diets.

ABILITIES:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to oversee a large team.
- Organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Computer competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
