We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor reporting to the Construction Manager, for our General Contractor’s department. Responsibilities:

• Complete various construction tasks- basic carpentry, drywall, demolition, etc.
• Supervise, schedule and manage subcontractors and production staff as required
• Consult blueprints, designs and client instructions for project plans
• Complete required administrative functions essential to the project(s)
• Lead project and ensure efficiency within project team
• Adapt to a variety of commercial, institutional and multi-residential environments
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Construction projects, as well as company and project policies/procedures

Requirements:

• Construction or carpentry experience
• Experience in mid-rise/high-rise building construction
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints
• Construction software experience an asset
• Valid class G driver's license required
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a police background check
• Own supply basic personal carpentry tools
• Available to work flexible hours
