Reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader, Millwrights work as part of a team providing quality operational repairs and preventative maintenance services.  As a valued member of a high performance team, the Millwright is responsible for safely, efficiently, and effectively supporting operations by ensuring equipment is available and running at rated capacities.

 

We offer a very competitive compensation package including a starting wage of $48.00/hr,  a yearly retention bonus and an annual $4000.00 Prairie Location Allowance. 


What We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Millwright with a valid Interprovincial ticket
  • Hydraulic systems troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to read blue prints, plans and schematics
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook considered an asset
  • Experience with CMMS systems and JD Edwards
  • Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset
