Position Summary

The Nordic Instructors will be providing lessons to all skill levels and ages in both private and group settings. The instructor will be required to assist in the rental area of the Nordic Center with sizing and gathering equipment for guests.  The instructor will be expected to provide outstanding customer service while working together in a team setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide lessons in both group and private settings at all skill levels.  
• Be an ambassador for Horseshoe at all times
• Assist with outside work when possible (trail work, fires, shoveling, sweeps, etc)
• Responsible for operating the front desk and balancing the cash at days end
• Assist other ski instructors and other staff members when necessary
• Coordinate with group sales and ski groups and school groups on their ski days
• Assist at the rentals desk and work collaboratively with Nordic technician 
• Provide prompt, attentive, and courteous service to all guests

Qualifications:

• Must have level 1 certification (CANSI)
• Previous experience and a passion for cross-country skiing 
• Previous front desk or supervisory experience an asset
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills a
• Must have professional manner and neatness at all times
• Ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills
