We are a successful, growing recycling company that recovers plastic from residential recycling programs. Your detergent bottles, milk jugs and plastic bags all end up at our facility, where we turn them into plastic resin pellets that can be used to make new products.

Listowel is just 45 minutes West of Kitchener/Waterloo

WEEKDAYS: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4pm.

Industrial Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Assemble industrial machinery
• Repair broken or defective machinery, using welding and machining
• Align equipment by using specialized tools
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Suggest and implement improvements
• Review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals
• Move machines for installation or repairs
• Disassemble machine parts for transporting or repair
• Rebuild gearboxes and pumps
• Collaborate with production, contractors and engineers
• Carry out preventative maintenance duties
• Complete electronic work orders

Requirements:

• We are looking for more than just a fabricator/welder
• Forklift experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Industrial Mechanical knowledge and experience: 3 years (required)
• Maintenance experience: 3 years (required)
• Welding experience: 3 years (required)
• Millwright experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Industrial Mechanic experience
• Good eye for quality control
• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Able to work fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Consistently reliable and dependable
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Listowel, ON before starting work (required)

• 9 hour shift
• Day shift - 7am-4pm
• Monday to Friday
