Evening Sous Chef

Purpose of this position:
To ensure a high level of food quality, value, consistency, and satisfaction to the guests, while maintaining/exceeding budgeted labour and staff.
Location:
Grafton, ON (45 minutes east of Oshawa)
Job type:
Full-time, Permanent
Shift:
3:00 pm t0 12:00am
Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours:
40 per week
Key Objective # 1 – Daily activities and responsibilities:
- Properly handles food, equipment, and utensils
- Prepares food according to Chef’s specification and recipes
- Sets up daily mise-en-place
- Cleans and maintains his/her working place, store, equipment, and utensils
- Participates in the meal service
- Follows and enforces the hygiene and safety standard set by the Public Health Department and the food services department
Experience:
- Able to commute or relocate to Grafton Area
- 1+ years of cooking experience
