Boom Truck Operator/Driver - Class 1/3

Title - HIAB Operator/Driver - Class 1 or 3
Position summary

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated CDL drivers for our Prince George location at 2261 Quinn Street S. who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.
Job requirements
- Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Load and unload materials
- Comply with company and government regulations and rules
- Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
- Match shipments to sales invoices
- Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
- Operate truck safely
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Inspect vehicle daily as per Highway Traffic Act
- Maintain clean equipment and monitor maintenance requirements
Qualifications
- Class 3 CDL with clean driver’s abstract
- HIAB experience/crane certification required
- Preferably having at least 3 years of driving experience
- Must be able to physically lift up to 100 lbs
- Manual Transmission experience is an asset
- Knowledge and competency in flat deck load securement
- Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs
- Able to pass a Criminal Background check
- Punctual and reliable
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
