Skilled Plumber / Pipefitter

Job Duties:

• Responsible for providing full cycle, in depth knowledge and support for the profession of Pipefitter / Steamfitter to ensure projects achieve their general and specific requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks

• Repair piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, and other process piping systems
• Lay out and install piping, tubing, fittings, and all related components

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, solder, assemble, and install metal, plastic and fiber glass pipes, valves and fittings

• Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position

Qualifications:

• Certified Red Seal Plumber/Pipefitter

• 6 + years of experience reading piping and instrumentation design diagrams

• Oil/gas industry experience
• Ability to use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
• Able to work in remote job locations

• Valid driver's license

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
