Role Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and budget constraints. Reporting to the Project Manager, your role will leverage core skills in construction management and quality control, while your supervisory experience will guide a team of skilled workers.
Your ability to analyze project plans and communicate effectively will be essential in maintaining project timelines and resolving issues. With expertise in blueprint reading and construction management, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects in a dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install and service in remote camps
- Diagnose, install and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems
- Test facilities for leaks
- Ensure that local and provincial safety regulations are met
- Knowledge of propane application and code
- Maintenance of air conditioning equipment
- Ensure operational efficiencies and continuous operational improvement
- Ensure all contracts are read, understood, and followed as required and project profits are maximized, and clients are satisfied with our services
- Ensure proper guidance is in place
Qualifications:
- Journeyman ticket in Plumbing and HVAC
- 5+ years of mechanical experience
- 2+ years of supervisor experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Have or able to become TSBC certified
