Position Overview
We are currently seeking journeyman plumbing/gasfitter tradespeople with a minimum 2 years plumbing experience to join our site teams in various locations in Alberta, including the multiple sites located alongside our head office and fabrication facility in Camrose. Position Locations
Our team has secured work in various locations throughout Alberta and Western Canada and are looking for motivated employees to travel to sites, or who are local to the following locations.
- Whitecourt, AB
- Driftpile/Slave Lake, AB
- Wainwright, AB
- Coaldale, AB
- Whitehorse, YT
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintaining general awareness and understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Interpret drawings and blueprints to layout, measure and mark dimension and reference lines
- Installation, repair and preventative maintenance associated with plumbing, heating, gas lines and equipment; troubleshooting plumbing systems.
- Install and assemble pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings and other required equipment.
- Assisting in testing all plumbing installations and reporting any errors
- Comply with standards and procedures of industry and company Safety Manual and abide by safety rules set out in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate a variety of hand tools using safe work practices, always aware of personal and client safety.
- Assist in identifying and preparing proper materials, equipment and tools required for new and existing projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clientele while on worksites.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
- Perform other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
Requirements for the position include but are not limited to:
- Commercial / Institutional plumbing experience
- Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record, abstract to be provided upon completion of probationary period.
- Your own set of hand tools.
- WHMIS
- First Aid
- CSTS
- Any other certifications are considered an asset.
