Position Overview

We are currently seeking superintendent, journeyman & apprentice sheet metal tradesmen to join our site teams in various locations in Alberta. Position Locations

Our team has secured work in various locations throughout Alberta and Western Canada and are looking for motivated employees to travel to sites, or who are local to the following locations.

  • Whitecourt, AB
  • Driftpile/Slave Lake, AB
  • Wainwright, AB
  • Coaldale, AB
  • Whitehorse, YT

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
  • Interpret drawings and blueprints to layout, measure, and mark dimension and reference lines
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products
  • Fasten components using bolts, screws, cement, rivets, adhesives, or alternative methods such as soldering and welding
  • Install, service, and repair sheet metal products and ensure quality installations conform to specifications and building codes
  • Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs
  • Assist structural steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers
  • Assist plumbers in conducting their work.
  • Comply with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules set out in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate a variety of hand tools using safe work practices, always aware of personal and client safety.
  • Assist in identifying and preparing proper materials, equipment and tools required for new and existing projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clientele while on worksites.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

Requirements for the position include but are not limited to:

  • Commercial sheet metal & HVAC experience.
  • Valid Driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
  • Your own set of hand tools.
  • WHMIS
  • First Aid
  • CSTS
  • Any other certifications are considered an asset.
