CNC Machine Centre Operator
TrueSpec Machining is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Centre Operator to join our production team. Since 1995, we have been a custom machining service provider to customers across a range of industries. Our modern facility is equipped with advanced CNC machining centres and quality control equipment, supporting our ISO 9001: 2015 certification and Controlled Goods Program registration.
This role is well suited for entry- to mid-level operators, including recent graduates, who are looking to build and grow their CNC machining skills in a professional, quality-driven environment.

Job Type & Compensation
- Full-time position
- 24/7 operation – flexibility for shift work as business needs change
- Hourly wage: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
- Shift premiums available
Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Machining Centre Operator, you will:
- Operate CNC machining centres according to established programs and work instructions
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
- Monitor machine operation and part quality during production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform secondary operations including deburring, filing, grinding, and packaging
- Complete daily machine checks and basic preventative maintenance
- Follow procedures and maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Entry- to mid-level CNC machining experience or completion of a CNC / machining education program
- Basic CNC machine operation experience (school or shop experience acceptable)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials in accordance with safety requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is an asset
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
