WHAT YOU BRING
Education/Experience:
- A degree or equivalent from an accredited Physiotherapy program
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) and thorough knowledge of its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to manage a clinical practice in a health care setting
- Able to adapt to different client needs and provide care in a variety of hospital settings
- Ability to complete analysis, using clinical knowledge, skill and judgement to synthesize assessment information
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently, interdependently, and collaboratively within a model of interprofessional care
- Ability to develop and maintain respectful partnerships
- Commitment to clinical excellence and leadership in Rehabilitative care
- Demonstrated commitment to People-Centred Care approach and principles
- Ability to demonstrate reflective practice
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to use independent judgment and maintain confidentiality of records, actions, and information
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills are required
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Asset:
- Membership in Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) are strongly encouraged
Conditions of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
