Objectives
As a professional Super B driver, you provide a key role in the company that is critical to our branch customer service goals and success. Always striving, we are looking for more of the right people to join our team of “champions”.


Job Duties
- Complete Daily Scheduled Deliveries and pickups
- Assist and/or give direction to workers loading/unloading materials
- Verify loaded materials match sales invoices
- Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards or dunnage to protect product while in transport
- Inspect trucks and trailers daily as per Highway Traffic Act
- Follow all local, provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Maintains driver log according to Highway Traffic Act and regulations
- This is a safety sensitive position

Qualifications
- Class B drivers license with 3 years of experience
- Must be able to back up trailers on tight job sites
- Able to produce a clean 5 year commercial abstract (CVOR)
- Knowledge and practice in Federal Hours of Service regulations
- Knowledge, competency and ability to consistently practice Federal Load Securement and weight displacement regulations
- Professional attitude toward safety procedures
- Ability to develop customer loyalty
- Experience in the construction/roofing industry would be an asset
- Worker must be able to physically perform the job functions, which includes manually lifting up to 50+lbs consistently
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
- DUI’s must be 5 years or older
- No more than 5 moving violations in the past 5 years
- No preventable accidents in the last 5 years
